Car network interaction has a top-level design

"This is the first top-level design document of vehicle network interaction in China." Li Lili, deputy director of Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute and Optical Storage Direct Soft Application Technology Research Institute, stressed in an interview with China Energy News. The team led by Li Lili previously participated in the research and drafting work supporting the policy document. He stated that car network interaction is a complex cross industry and cross departmental system engineering, and the release of the "Implementation Opinions" will play a crucial role in coordinating and promoting various work at the national and local levels.

There are many participants in the interaction between car and network, including electric vehicle users, charging and discharging service operators, electric vehicle load aggregation, virtual power plant operators, power grid enterprises, electricity trading institutions, etc. The top-level design and system coordination on the policy side provide a guarantee for the large-scale promotion of vehicle network interaction.

Liu Yongdong, Deputy Secretary General of the China Electricity Council, also pointed out that vehicle network interaction is a project of gathering sand to form a tower, and achieving large-scale vehicle network interaction requires top-level government design and joint efforts from all parties. He believes that in addition to policies, car network interaction also faces challenges in terms of scale, mode, technology, standards, and other aspects.

The 'Implementation Opinions' have clarified the responsible departments for each key link of the car network interaction. Specifically, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have coordinated the top-level design of vehicle network interaction, actively promoted the construction of supporting policies, electricity prices, and market mechanisms, and strengthened guidance and supervision. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the National Energy Administration are promoting the accelerated application of intelligent and orderly charging functions in new energy vehicles and charging and swapping facilities. The National Standardization Management Committee organizes the Standardization Technical Committee for Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities in the Energy Industry and the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee to accelerate the construction of the vehicle network interaction standard system, and guide the development of relevant international standard cooperation.
